The area is rich in wildlife - golden eagles and red deer on the hills, sea otters and dolphin in the lochs. Local accessible walks mean that you can throw away your car keys for a few days if you wish. Equally, the cottages provide an ideal base for exploring the rest of Skye. Portree the main village on the island is 20 minutes away, the famous Cuillin mountains just a spectacular 45 minute drive.
There are a range of activities on the doorstep - go walking, climbing and bird-watching on our croft, go fishing and kayaking and explore rock pools on the loch. Edinbane village itself has 2 hotels each offering bar meals. The Edinbane Hotel is one of the best hotels on the island for traditional music sessions - and you never know when they'll be on! There's also a local Pottery selling high quality ceramics.
